Starting a Business: What You need to Know About SEO

TUCstarting a business

When I was starting a business called Ari Publishing several years ago, my biggest problem was suddenly finding out (the hard way) all the things I didn’t know about publishing. And NOT KNOWING can seriously damage your start up and may knock you right into considerable debt before you even realize the money you spent was on the wrong things.

Fortunately we made it through okay but it took a long time to learn all I needed to know to get the business functioning on a day to day basis.

And it cost me a lot of money.

Such is the price of an education. But we did get a great lead-in logo

The thing is you can learn virtually anything on the net when you hook up with the right people or organization. And although we’re often told that there are horrible predators on the internet just waiting to steal our identity or hack into our personal accounts, the truth is that’s more likely to happen when you give your credit card to someone at your local restaurant than it is online.

But whether it’s a brick and mortar or an online business, the basics still apply. If you want to make a living you need customers. The least expensive way to find out if there are any out there is to start your business as an online business.

Let’s begin with something standard like a bake shop. You’ve taken a few online courses and have become quite good at creating specialty cakes. You take out small ads in the local newspaper, have business cards made up, enter a few local bake offs to get your name out there. And over the course of a few years of shelling out more money than you’re taking in, you start showing a small profit, after a few more years, things start taking off and you open a second shop. After a few more years things are running well and you’re making real money.

How would you like your bake shop to have progressed to that point in 18 months instead of seven to ten years?

Well it can and frankly, it isn’t all that hard to do.

The process is called SEO which stands for Search Engine Optimization.

Here how it works. Nowadays when people want to know something or find something they go straight to And why not? Google is amazing!

Want to find rare coins? Google will tell you where. Need to lose weight? Goggle will show you how. How about a specialty cake for my daughter winning the national spelling bee?

Yeah, you know where to go. BUT, there are plenty of pages featuring specialty cake shops and people rarely check past Google’s first page when they search, so how do you get your shop on Google’s first page where everybody can see it?

You use Search Engine Optimization!

Sounds difficult.

It’s not, but people who take the time to learn it are generally paid a $3500 retainer and $1500 a month once their business ranks on Google’s first page.

Stop and think about that for a second. Once you learn SEO not only can you place your business where everyone on Google can see it, you can also hire yourself out to do the SEO for other businesses.

Now at about this point people start thinking, Yeah, but what is this going to cost me?

It won’t cost you a dime. Tomorrow I will give out the link to one of this country’s best SEO professionals. A man who has made millions doing SEO for major corporations and highly paid professionals like doctors and lawyers.

And when you click on that link you will view a tutorial where he will show you exactly how to set up your own online business, how to upload it to the internet and then how to optimize it so it will show up on the first page of Google, Bing and Yahoo search engines.

And like I said, that incredible tutorial that could very likely open the door to a very lucrative new career for you is absolutely FREE…

To those who receive my weekly newsletter. So if you haven’t signed up yet, do so now by filling in your name and email address in that blue box on the right, because I’m only going to make this information available once and believe me, if I had this information when I was just starting out I would be a very rich man by now.

I will send out the link in an email Saturday night November 30. Make sure you’re signed up before then, because this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
